This Community Service Program (PKM) was conducted as an effort to address issues related to inadequate cleanliness and suboptimal spatial arrangement of the library, which affected user comfort. Library cleanliness and spatial organization play an important role in creating a conducive learning environment and supporting literacy activities. The objective of this PKM was to improve library cleanliness and spatial arrangement in order to enhance user comfort, particularly for students and teachers. The implementation method consisted of three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The program partners included students, teachers, and librarians. The preparation stage involved initial observations and coordination with the school. The implementation stage included cleaning the library space, reorganizing the layout of furniture and book collections, and providing assistance in library cleanliness management. Evaluation was carried out through direct observation to assess the effectiveness of the program. The results showed an 80% increase in user comfort, indicated by a cleaner, tidier, and better-organized library, as well as increased student interest in visiting and reading in the library. In conclusion, optimizing library cleanliness and spatial arrangement is effective in improving user comfort and enhancing the utilization of the library as a learning resource center in schools.
